CARMARTHEN TABLE TENNIS CLUB

CHARGES

The first charge is an Annual Membership charge. This has been set for September 2009 to August May 2010 as:-

FULL MEMBERSHIP Members may be of any age and have full voting rights at Annual or Special General Meetings.- OR, £25.00 per annum JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP Members must be 17 years of age or under, or still in full time education, and NOT wish to have full voting rights at Annual or Special General Meetings. Fees collected in hourly charges ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP This form of membership is granted to adults, 18 years of age or over, who are unable to attend the Club on a regular basis but still attend when able. They do not have a voting right at Annual, Emergency or Special General Meetings. £5.00 per annum

Non members/visitors/members of the public are allowed to attend 2 club sessions without committing themselves to joining the Club. The intention is to allow any visiting player to experience either table tennis for the first time or for experienced players to see how our Club works before deciding to join. However, all players are still expected to pay for the time that they play during a Club session (that is, pay the hourly charge).

The second charge is therefore a hourly charge that all players (members and non members) pay whilst they are at the Club session.

All ages 1st hour = £1.50 per hour; subsequent hours = £1.00 per hour.

TTAW MEMBERSHIP

In additition, the Table Tennis Association of Wales (TTAW) also requires all players to affiliate to them as the Governing Body for Table Tennis in Wales. Their scale of fees for 1 September 2009 to 31st August 2010, these are:-

1. TTAW Membership - annual charge - levied on all players in an affiliated Community Club.

2. TTAW Players Licence - annual charge. This is an annual licence charge levied by the TTAW on all players who wish to play in tournaments within Wales which are organised by the TTAW (Welsh League's), or, National or International events as a player Registered within Wales.

You do not pay this fee if you only want to play in the Club or a local League.

ALL PLAYERS WISHING TO PLAY IN NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS.

£12.00 per annum.

SWANSEA LEAGUE TEAM FEES AND MEMBERSHIP

The Club has entered teams into the Swansea and District Table Tennis League since 1988. Currently, Carmarthen has 5 teams entered in the Swansea League. Our current Sponsor is: 1st KMH Computers.

Venue costs for teams playing "out of the Lesiure Centre" are shared between all those teams on an equal bais and then sub-devided/shared between the numbers of players in each of those teams - this makes for fair cost to each player.

However, as with all extra play there are additional costs to be incurred. For a League Player playing for a CARMARTHEN TEAM team during the Season 2009/2010, these are:-

Swansea and District Table Tennis League Personal Membership	£5.00p per annum
Swansea and District Table Tennis League Team Membership (£21 per team - split between team players)(Example is for 3 players in a team).	£7.00p per annum

Room rent - period October to December each season (approximate)	Costs vary per period dependent upon the number of teams playing from the Leisure Centre and the number of players in each team. (Further advice can begiven by the Club Secretary.
3 star table tennis balls (40mm) - per player	£3.50p per season
Room rent - period January to April each season (approximate)	Cost vary per period. (See above).

Travel cost to away matches - October to December (approximate)

Shared between the travelling players in each team and can average approximately £3.50 per match.

Players who may wish to play in the Premier Division of the Swansea League should note that all matches are played in a central venue in Morriston, Swansea. This will mean that the room rent and travel cost will be different for these players. It is expected that the players in these teams will incure costs of:-

Room Rent at Morriston Centre (approximate)	£3.00p per player per week.
Travel cost to Morriston Leisure Centre (weekly) (approximate).	£3.50p per player per week approximately or share transport on weekly basis.

TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP OF WALES

Players who wish to play in the Team Championship of Wales (see also TEAMS) for a Carmarthen team will incure the following costs:-

Welsh League Team entered in Senior or Veterans Team events - cost to be shared equally by all team members.

£32.00p per team

Note. Players MUST be FULL members of the Club and TTAW, and have a current players licence (all detailed above). In addition, the cost of travel to these matches (four during the season) is shared by all players attending that match. This amount can not be estimated as the venues can be in both North and South Wales. Most are played in the Welsh Institute for Sport, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

Other cost incurred include a bat of sufficient quality that it will do justice to your style of play and a team shirt. Joe, Stan and Vince all have a variety of suppliers catalogues available should you wish to purchase a new or replacement bat. Team shirts can be purchased via Stan. Current cost are approximately £14.50 per shirt which includes the Club Logo and your name on the front of the shirt and the wording 'Carmarthen Table Tennis Club' on the back.
